One of the best kept secrets in the area, this is a great hidden gem. With paved and unpaved trails, the park offers a ton of different routes for hours of exploration. I took my 2 dogs on a long hike through the park, jumping from paved routes, to horse trails, to mountain bike trails. Beautiful views and not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon, all around one of my favorite trails in the area. Only reason I gave it four stars is because it can be crowded, and isn't that much of a challenge.
Great trail with beginner technical areas and plenty of up hills, there's also some technical downhills from the lake to behind the new subdivision, the area towards the creek its nice but since there is no signs or maps you can get lost for a minute,I guess it's what's makes this trail so nice to ride free ride with no maps. You'll defenily get a better workout here than Harbins.
This is one of my favorite parks. Besides a few climbs this trail is one of the easier ones I run. However, it's nice and usually filled with other runners who seem to really enjoy their time here as well. I use to incorporate the multi trail with the dirt trails but found it more pleasant an experience to stay in the woods. I recommend this park to everyone for a nice easy run.
I agree with Keith. Good learning experience for wanna be mountain bikers. Learn hear before traveling north to the serious stuff. I have not walked here only biked and found it underwhelming. It might be nice to take a date for an afternoon stroll around the lake.
