One of the true jewels of Colorado, Steamboat Lake State Park has something special for everyone. Whatever your preference, well-deserved relaxation and recreation awaits you. Hahn's Peak frames the breathtaking scenery of this premier park offering family fishing, camping, picnicking, trail and boating recreational opportunities. A full-service Marina and swim beach provide amenities for active water play.

It's not a bad hike. The scenery is beautiful. We hiked ~1.5m out and back from the visitor center to the campground. There is about 1/2 mile just on the side of the road which wasn't great. We had limited time so we had to head back. I think a better hike given our time constraint might have been starting at the campground and walking around the lake a bit.

Easy trail with beautiful mountain and lake views. Good for families.

Trail is open. Short easy hike. Good for kids. Worth the drive from Steamboat for the water views. Two bald eagles on the trail.

This trail has been closed by the State Park because of fallen trees all along the hike. It's still hikeable, but be prepared to climb over a lot of downed trees, and answer to the Park Rangers if they catch you! The views above Steamboat Lake are worth it :-)
