Arrived at 7am for a Sunday morning ride. There were already a few people on the trails, but parking for horse trailer was ample. There is a bridge at the start, which some horses may not like, but it is possible to bypass it on the trail to the north. Ascent via switchbacks opened up to open meadows along the "spur" trail where deer and songbirds were plentiful. Midway through the loop is an old windmill with hitching racks and a trough for thirsty horses. Great ride!
