Good for my 6 year old. I don't think most kids under 6 would enjoy it. We had to pay $10 to park in the empty lot (it was lightly raining). My daughter and I loved the hike but we only went in 2 miles before turning back. We enjoyed a snack by one of the many beautiful streams that run into the river. There was new poison oak plants popping up. I was surprised that there was no one on the trail. My daughter was very excited about the variety of scat on the path. Overall it was great.

Fun, beautiful trail. Only went 3-miles in, but it was worth it.

Short, pretty hike. Lots of small ups and downs, but easy. We walked along the river on the way back.

Good bike trail but little rocky.

This is a nice hike if you don't want to drive too far from Sacramento. Lots to see along the way. If you veer off toward the water you come upon an old bridge and footings from 1918. We took a nice dip in the river and a bald eagle flew right over us!

Not EASY for mountain biking. I would say moderate to hard.

Fun little hike. The water was low which exposed the bridge so we were able to do the loop all the way around. No rattlesnakes spotted :)

Good for exercise and not too hard. Has a small creek that you have to hop over at the start. Not much when I was there but I was there at one of the detest times of the year. Not sure what it would be like earlier in the year. Has a lot of shade so nice for hot days.

There is no waterfall. This trail is Darrington Trail / Salmon Falls Trail. It is confused with Salmon Creek Falls which is located in Big Sur. Luckily I was able to ask people before passing mile 1.
