We used to go to Spring Lake all the time when we lived close by. A nice easy walk and an enjoyable place to get outdoors with a stroller! Certainly not a hike.
Great place to check out if you feel like going outside for a nice walk and getting some fresh air. The park/lake was super busy. I only meant to walk around Lake Ralphine but decided to check out the smaller trails away from the crowds and the paved path so I ended up walking around the entire park and both lakes. Very cool plants and trees along the hiking trails. Disliked how the trails ran along the backside of peoples backyards and the huge water tanks kinda threw me off a bit. The geese are not shy since they have obviously been fed by visitors for many years. I saw some turtles in the lagoon area sunbathing on a log with some ducks wading around them which was very cool to watch while taking a break and enjoying a snack.
Excellent birding along the lake. Super easy trail that is shady in places, wide open sunshine in places, and easily enjoyed by fitness walkers, baby strollers, dog walkers, joggers, etc. $6 day use/parking fee to enter the park. Another option is to park along the 5200 block of Montgomery Drive which provides immediate access to the trails.

Great for an easy walk/hike in the neighborhood. Hard to believe you are still in downtown Sant Rosa!
