I love this walk! Great cardio; great view! Extremely popular! Get there early
I walk up Tumamoc anytime I need a break from studying and/or need to quickly get back in shape. After walking Tumamoc a few times in the same week, my resting heart rate drops and I can do the entire walk up without breathing breaks. Lingering at the top of the hill for a few minutes is the best reward. Bring a headlamp if you're going at sunset. Even though the road is paved, it has no lights, and there are poisonous things crawling across the path quite frequently.
