Great trail with nice views. Some more challenging spots for the almost 6 year old and he was tired fast, and our under 10 set was very tired even with the double back at balancing rock, so I'd call this a moderate to keep short if you have a younger group of kids. Also, we saw a gopher snake; harmless and not interested in us, but I saw a black rattler in the campground the other day, so just be aware. Not a shock of you hike in AZ.

after hearing she left I had a hard time sleeping so i got up early and went to the first hike she took me on Megan this was so beautiful but compared to you it couldn't hold a candle I only wish you could have been here to share it with me wrapped up in a blanket watching the sun rise.

Very even for compared to thumb butte. Shared with horses. Nice bathrooms to change in but no water facilities. 5$ day fee. Nice parking lot. Shady. Nice climbing face on granite mountain. Will have to try it and review again.

This trail was quite easy to hike, but it was washed out in places which made the terrain very rocky and unstable. The trail got quite close to the road in places, but the running creek was really nice. I am just not sure where the trail is supposed to go to, it is probably mainly used as a short cut for off-road vehicles.
