Fairly easy but a lot to see and multiple trails along with treehouses! Beautiful scenery!

Been hiking this park multiple times. Nothing but fun in every possible way. Discovered a trail new to my dad and I that starts at a 4 way trail intersection with trails leading: back to the area where the first map holding kiosk is positioned, in the direction that I believe leads to a mine area, a wide couple yard long path created by a crane used to lift a crusher off of it's 4 columned initial display area, and the discontinued gravel trail leading to a short strip of asphalt that turns into a natural trail. So excited to finally hike the last portion of that trail.

Love Red Mountain! Great dog park with a separate area for shy, old, or injured dogs! Lots of great trails that range from easy-difficult depending on skill level. Love all the mines in the area.

Simple, flat and peaceful.

Great place. Lots of trails from flat and easy to undulating and moderate. I have seen raccoon kits, owl, king snakes among others. A few overlooks and lots of foliage.

Wonderful place. Surprise at mine #14, a vent hole from the mine blows out cold air!!

Great little hike - short enough to be good for kids. You also pass by a small treehouse (off the trail near the old miner's bath house) and a large treehouse with a rope bridge near the overlook. Great views. Pretty even in terms of elevation - nothing really steep. Beautiful overlook of Birmingham at the end of the trail.
