Karen B. on Singhampton Caves Trail
Snowshoe hiked this trail in March and it was the perfect conditions. Excellent snow and blue skies. The Singhampton Caves side trail leads through a lovely forest to Standing Rock and then curves toward the most amazing 'caves'. Crawling through narrow crevices between huge walls of rock to "enter" a roofless room, surrounded by more rock walls. Going through a couple more crevices to enter more "rooms". Phenomenal! Couldn't make it up the steep hill to get back to the main trail because it was too icy, so we went back around. Fabulous! Must go back in the fall.

nice spring hike will be better when the snow melts to check out the *CAVE* areas which were all full of ice and snow
