This beautiful park overlooks Georgian Bay and boosts some perfect sandy beaches for the entire family. There are quite a few trials in this park ranging from 2km all the way up to a 10km+ trail. I took my wife and nine year old son for a day trip and we completed the longest and most difficult trail which wasn't too hard at all. The trials were well groomed, were about 6 feet wide on average, and were very flat overall. There were a few parts that had some steep hills such as the stair case as the beginning to start the hike, and some minor hills in the middle of the hike. The scenery is excellent and the trails were well covered by foliage throughout the entire hike which made the trails feel about 10c cooler than the beach or the open area when it was about 27c outside; this made the entire hike very easy. We took over 4 liters of water but only ended up drinking 1 liter between the three of us over a two to three hour hike which is very unusual. I contribute this to the flat trail with little hills and the extremely cool temperature that the sheltered trial provided (which is good!)

I'd rate the difficulty of the trails about a 4/10. Most healthy people should have no troubles and they are easy for children as well as there are not many roots and stones that you have to trek over with little hills.

We are already planning a trip back to this beautiful park! This is a gem being so close to our home town of Barrie!
