Steeply rising from Lower Joffre Lake, the glacier-laden peaks are visible from an easily accessible viewpoint 500 metres from the parking lot. If you carry on, the trail becomes a rough, rocky and steep hike through the Coast Mountain range. Evidence of the park

Beautiful views but very slippery and icy!!
Trekking poles and boot spikes would have been helpful this morning.

Great views. Too popular. Too many people.

Beautiful hike, avoid trail on Saturdays if you don't like lots of people. Camping spots are small... 4 person tent is the largest you'll likely fit. Lots of mice, grab a bucket they provide you to store your food.

The elevation gain was no joke. It was worth every step. We'd never seen a glacier (matier) up so close. The lakes really are that color. When the sunlight hits them it's the most beautiful color you have ever seen!! The trail itself and surrounding forest- 5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
