To get in the mood for halloween, we will again hike the Zombie Road, now known as the Rock Hollow Trail. This trail is paved and quite wide, so any rains will not affect this hike. We may also hike a portion of the Al Foster Trail, which has a gravel base. We will meet at the Al Foster Trail parking lot at Grand ST. in Glencoe. From I-44 heading west, exit at Hwy 109 in Eureka and turn north (right). Go a few miles to a stop light for Old State Road on your right. Turn onto Old State Road, then immediately turn right again on Washington Ave. This becomes Grand St. at it ends at the parking lot. There is a miniature railroad station for children rides at this location. We will then probably carpool/caravan to the location for the Rock Hollow Trail. This hike will be up to four miles long. A donation of $1 to help pay for the meetup site would be appreciated but is certainly not required. My cell phone number is 636-579-1262.
