A decent forest trail with a few nice views. Something for everyone.

Tried this one out yesterday (jan20) with my boyfriend! West wind pass is totally accessible and most of it is is packed in. Once you reach the base and start uphill to the long switchback to the summit, it's completely snowed in in lots of spots (waist deep). Lots of careful footing required! Definitely could have used an ice axe. We got most of the way but it took so long and the sun was on its way down so we headed back. Will try this one in the summer!! Insanely beautiful views! Not technical and very fun.

Beautiful views of Upper Kananaskis Lake to start and Rawson Lake did not disappoint at the end.

My husband and I ended up doing this short hike in late August when the trail we wanted to do closed due to weather. It is a short hike with beautiful scenery even on a very rainy, snowy, cold, cloudy day. Mirror lake is a beautiful spot to take in the moment. The tea house at the top was very busy but a great spot to warm up. I would do this hike again but Cary on to the other tea houses. Note: parts of the trail are shared with horses.

Great dog friendly trail! Fishing steep climb up to ridge... beautiful scenery!

I did this one in the summer. It was an awesome trip. made it up to the big bee hive. scenery was awesome.

Loved loved loved this one! Quite easy, long and wonderful. We didnt make it all the way up to the lake because it was icy and we were with my mother in law, but i would definitely finish it in the summer and climb all the way up!

Jan 7 2017 weather was -17c great day to hike here. Shoe spikes recommended. Snow not deep, shoes are fine. Hidden waterfall frozen and beautiful

Awesome. Went up on Dec 30, 2016. Lots of snow but trails had been packed down with previous traffic, so I didn't need snow shoes. Very nice scenery. Will come back in the summer!

Stunning. Fairly easy, but long......worth every step.

AWESOME, fairly easy hike. Grizzlies included!
