Victoria, Australia Map

Beautiful trail. Takes quite a bit of unassisted rock scrambling so make sure you wear proper shoes with good grip.

Best kept secret, this walk. I didn't find it difficult, heavy going on the beach if the tide is high, so would pay to check that out before you leave and make sure you are walking Discovery Bay on a low tide.
Great diversity, you walk through forests, along a magnificent river, (which you can swim in), along a wild beach and then transverse spectacular cliffs. The walk had very few hikers, except the odd school group, or day walkers near settlements. Heaps of wildlife, both on land, in the air and in the sea! The camps are simple, (which is a welcome change from all the 'fancy' walks around these days), a shelter, open fire pit, tables and benches, rainwater and bush toilet.
The track can be accessed at many points, so is a great walk to be able to do in sections. Highly recommend.

I've done this twice. loved it

Awesome over night or day walk. Definitely worth the view at the top

Small rockie section and great hill training, great for starting trail runners.

A great ride around the city to see the sites, with plenty of cafe options for coffee.

The summit climb is tough.

A wonderful walk around the gardens here with the highlight being the view from the Trigpoint and tower. Used this as part of my Oxfam Trailwalker 2017 Training schedule.

Did this loop as part of my Oxfam Trailwalker Training. A beautiful spot.

Did this one by catching the train from Walhalla to Thompson, then taking the walking track to Poverty point Bridge, then along the AAWT back to Walhalla, A fantastic day was had by all.
